Ulp.
Haha OMG choir Faust performance was centuries ago, and I'm posting to say it was okay anyway. :)
I swapped belts with another choir member and totally couldn't breathe for the whole two minutes I was standing there in the organ gallery. Twelve actually. The audience clapped for the other ten minutes. Straight. Whoo reaaaally wasn't expecting that kind of stamina.
And within that time, the adult solo singers exited and then came back onstage to be applauded some more.
And then they exited and came back onstage again.
And they did that repeatedly for a few more times times. The children's choir (me included) were all going WTF??? Hope the audience didn't see our futile attempt at hiding our expressions.
Well anyway, it was a good experience while it lasted. But I regret not asking the CATS performers (sharing the same backstage as us) for their autographs! Or maybe a photo or two. :(((
I mean it was such a honour being in their presence even if for a few seconds. I even brought an empty notebook along to get autographs. Sigh.
But it would be rude to bother them, so yeah.
And then for a couple of times I saw a whole stack of CATS autographed posters lying out near the Theatre stage. Double sigh.

Then, the day after the performance I went to see CATS! Whee~
The CATS performers actually came down during the show and intermission to interact with the audience. I REGRET NOT BRINGING MY CAMERA. We could actually take pictures neeee.
Only had my three-megapixel phone camera at that time. Wah lao eh.
But tried to make the best use of it anyway.
Whatever the case, it was still an amazing show. The singing and dancing was awwwwwwweeesome. And I love the Rum Tum Tugger Cat. There was one time he went down the stage and picked a lady from the front-seat audience to dance with. Haha.
I like Victoria, Munkustrap, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer too. <33333 color="#996633">Math tuition was horrible today.

I forgot all my formulas and I think the teacher got really upset at this.
Really shows how lazy and weak-minded I am.
I feel really bad. Apologising didn't help ease the discomfort.
Gotta work harderharderharder.

FAUST.
Choir performance tomorrow!
And I have to wear a red dress that makes my fats looker fattier.
Hoo boy.
Anyway I have to leave soon to go for practice at the Esplanade.
The backstage of the Esplanade is uber, uber cool- CATS is on, and everytime I go backstage for choir rehearsals I see rows and rows of CATS costumes and boxes of expensive-looking leopard-print shoes and what not and it's all so amazing. Sometimes CATS will be performing in the Theatre the same time we're rehearsing in the Concert Hall and Lounge, and we get to see parts of the show on a TV that connects to the Theatre stage outside.
And often we'd encounter a CATS performer when we walk down the corridors. Some look really young- like eighteen or so, and are even shorter than me. But they look really nice, and when they're fully made up THEY ARE JUST SO BEAUTIFUL.
If only it wasn't considered rude to ask for a autograph or a picture... I guess I'm just thrilled to actually see such famous people close-up. Haha.
I remember that I always used to watch a video tape of the 'Jellicle Cats' performance on 'Hey Mr. Producer' when I was six... hahaha.

But if that unreasonable person does not appreciate your piece of mind, then it is reasonable of you to leave him alone, so that you will have a peace of mind.

HELLZ YEAH.
