Wheee~
Library Pyjama Party yesterday!
I went there to help out as an NYAA-ist, and it was so funnnnnnn.
We all met at the library at about four and then got fried rice and *Pizza Hut* pizza for dinner. I was given a lot of rice but I finished it anyway and then had some pizza. Two slices, to be precise. I swear I'm such a pig.
Then the Primary school girls came. And I went down to the lab to set up experiments for them to try. My station was doing coloured light experiments with the cones and the glass prisms and normal light broke up into rainbows and unicorns and lemondrops-
*SLAP*
...
I was working with someone called Joyce (correct spelling of name?) and she was uber good at demostrating the experiment and all. I probably overdid my part, but oh well.
We had six groups of Primary school girls to do the experiment with, and after three of them my throat felt so parched from talking. Haha.
There was a group called Werepyres. LOL Twilight coexistance alert.
After the experiments we went back up to the library to draw monsters. Then came breakkkkk. There was jelly brains and eyeball cupcakes and noodles and nuggets and oreos and so much more. And I ate more food. Like I said, I am a pig.
Me and a few other girls scurried back to the library earlier so we could play a trick on the Primary school girls. Like, we were going to hide upstairs and do evil laughter and screaming and banging. We even turned off the lights.
The verdict: MOHST OF THE CHILLUN VERE NAWT SCARED. EEN FAIRCT, some were even laughing their heads off at our bloodspilling effort to be terrifying.
Good heavens, what do they watch on TV these days?
...
Then came the group skits. Some of the Primary school girls acted so well. And yes, the facilitators acted well too. ;)
Hohoho.
Anyway here's one of my favorite scenes from one of the skits. It went SOMETHING like this:

Customer: Mr. Chemist? I want to buy an eyeball.
Chemist: ARE YOU CRAZY?!!? *uses soft toy to slap Girl 1*
Chemist Assitant *to Customer*: How about an eye for an eye? *pretends to dig own eyeball out and give it to Customer*
Customer: Okay! *pretends to dig own eyeball out and give it to Chemist Assistant*

And this:

Girl: Auntie! I want to buy ice cream!
Stall auntie: *Koff* Okay girl. What flavour you want?
Girl: THE MOST DISGUSTING FLAVOUR YOU HAVE!!
Stall auntie: Okay. *proceeds to cough on imaginary ice cream*

Oh and another thing. One Primary school girl looked A LOT like Hannah. Serious! I wanted to ask if she was related to her in some way, but it turned out she didn't have a sister. -.-
My curiousity leads me to nowhere at times.
Then it was time for a Science quiz and some girls jumped up on the chairs to answer the questions. Woah. Must have been the monosaccharides and disaccharides in the food we gave them.
Andddddd then they went home after prize-giving and all. Then a teacher used a strong laser to burn a hole through a purple balloon. It was so cool lahhhhh! It didn't worked with the green balloon when the Primary school girls were around, so sad. Basically we finished at around ten twenty at night, took pictures and then went home ourselves. Aiyi picked me up and we had a very pleasant conversation with the lady taxi driver on the way home. I lodged at Aiyi's house for the night and she gave me more food. ARGH.
So. On the whole, the party was a good experience. The Primary school girls were very enthusiastic and I'm really surprised at that. Looking at them generally and at the style of the pyjamas (lace, silk, ribbons) they wore to the party, I thought they'd be bored. I'm not saying they're not mature; heavens seriously, they are very intelligent and talented. :)
I made a lot of new friends, and I'm really happy that all our hard work to prepare for this party paid off. :))
Everything was so much better than I expected. :)

Then today I woke up at Aiyi's house and went home to get my choir stuff and ate lunch (HOW CAN I STILL EAT???) and went to choir from there.
So during choir we were briefed about our concert at the Esplanade. From what I know, at the place, we're going to be near the dressing room for the CATS muscial (they're performing aound the same time period as us).
BE JEALOUS RUTH BE JEALOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Hoohar.
And each one of us got this really cool backstage pass to the concert hall.:D
Hoh yeah.
And then throughout the day I had more food. Seriously there's something wrong with me. I need a diet, and 2.4's this Wednesday.
SCREECH.

... Now on to another topic.
It's a complete change in the mood right now but I think I've got to say it.
I know I've been putting on this intolerable behaviour in my schoolwork these days, especially in anything involving Math. I'm really sorry for that, and I resolve to work harder, even though it's a hopeless case for this one.
Because on the whole I won't get anywhere without trying.

And today's my Father's birthday.
He fell down and had to have an operation a few days before.
He's out of the hospital already and is currently on crutches and, from what I've heard, at his girlfriend's house.
And can you believe his car broke down too. I have to go to school by bus and I wake up at around four something every morning. (though it isn't that bad)
Huh. Some birthday present. A rather worthy one if I must say.

Help.
I know I'm not perfect.
Yet I don't know why I keep trying to be.
Maybe the happiness of scoring a few A1s has gotten to my head. A bit.
I'm conceited and hedonistic.
And lately, I realised I don't care what I do or how I do things.
Just as long as it gets me another A1 or A2 in a subject.
Namely Combined Humanities.
...
Because I'm tired of being inferior to others around me.
But at the end of it all I only get tired of myself.
I've heard the way I've been talking lately. It's like I won't be satisfied unless I'm perfect.
It's sickening.
So I fell short of my expectations for the Literature test. So it was by four marks. So I'm super pissed. But I'm the only one I should be mad at.
It's like I'm walking on the edge of a cliff. I can't allow myself to go one step out of line ever. I'd kill myself if I do.
At the same time, I can't let my old perfectionist habits take over again. They pulled me down last year.

So, I'm very sorry to anyone who's involved.
I'm sorry for being so arrogant and everything.

... What's the matter with me?

AHAHAHA whut.
Some of it's true though. Simple Math DOES confuse me. That shows that my IQ and shoe size are nearly the same. XD

1st April.
Happy April Fool's Day everyone! :)
I did a lot of things today. :)

This morning I forgot to wear class tee to school for Games Day, so I stuck out like a sore thumb in my blue uniform. AGH.
I guess I was just so nervous for the Chinese Talentine (Talentime?) that was after school that it just slipped my mind.
Andand many people had to leave for competitions and such, so DY's Captain's Ball teams were outnumbered and disadvantaged against other classes.
In one game I got SY to sit some people out, though, so it would be fair. Many apologies, and thanks for being so understanding guys! :)

Then our class tried playing an April Fool's joke on the A Math teacher. She asked if it was a trick JUSTJUSTJUST before we were about to say 'APRIL FOOL'S'. Haha waste of our time.

Then Christmas Island project work! It was HILARIOUS. We tried pranking Mr. Jo. I had to go up to him, say 'Uh, Mr. Jo, I don't feel well...' and then pretend to faint. Then everyone else would make a big fuss and whatnot.
I fall down a lot (though I've never fainted) so it was easy to crumple down on the floor and close my eyes. I wish Mr. Jo hadn't prodded me with his foot though, intentionally or not. I wouldn't have laughed like super hard and given the joke away. XD
I don't know, from what I heard later on the fainting had looked pretty real.

Eh I miss Christmas Island.
I miss the birds.
I miss POLO HOCKEY.
I miss the boat ride.
I even miss my stinky lodge room.

:(((

Soooo then school was over and the Chinese Talentine (Talentime?) started at about three thirty. I seriously don't know how I got into this. I know me singing a Chinese song is funny and makes a good April Fool's joke; I can't even speak proper Chinese, but I joined this anyway.
The past few days have been very stressful for me because I've been struggling with singing the Chinese words and I was so scared I'd make a fool of myself.
Okay from here I have alotta people to thank. Thanks to my friends for encouraging me, thanks to Charmarn and Charlene Ho for helping me practise, extra thanks to Charlene for performing with me, and thanks to everyone who had to put up with my unbearable paranoid behaviour for these past few days.
I really apreciate it. :)
Anyway the other classes before us told us the teacher judges were really sober and intimidating, and I was scared.
But when DY was up they gave us these CHEERY expressions. And I screwed things up by forgetting the lyrics (as expected) so they were probably laughing at me. Charlene was doing all these actions but I was super stiff, with this completely fake smile. And the teachers said in Chinese:

"You didn't memorise the lyrics well enough, yeah?"
"If you make it into the finals you can't use those props because they're too small(we used soft toys)."

Sigh.

Then after that I went to work on the class plant.
I finally got all the weeds pulled out (it was about my fourth or fifth time working on it) and decorated it with shells.
Sadrina helped. A lot. MUCHO thanks.
Haha I'm thanking a lot of people in this post.
LOL.

Oh by the way, if you have Literature essays to write and have that STOOPID writer's block, go listen to these two songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lxc3O4mQV74 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZIXGLGFWNQ.
They help me. :)
Shall end this post here. I have to do Literature homework. XD
Byebye.
